Ryan Chapman is a percussionist hailing from Yakima, WA. He received a bachelor's degree in music from Western Oregon University and a master's degree of music in percussion performance from Eastern Washington University where he was a student of Dr. Michael Waldrop. Throughout his career Ryan has emphasized a well-rounded approach to musical studies of contemporary and classical music through the art of the drum set and classical percussion.

An active educator and performer, Ryan has performed clinics and concerts throughout the United States and Europe. He has been fortunate enough to collaborate and learn from many great musicians along the way including Allen Touissant, Alan Molnar, Cuong Vu, Jim Seeley, Adam Nussbaum, Thomas Burritt, Lisa Nichol, Mark Ramirez, Jonathon Ovalle, Brad Dutz, Victor Rendón, Bobby Sonabria, Memo Acevedo, Arnie Lang, Mel Brown, David Blink, Christopher Whyte, Brett Paschal, Ty Paulsen and Mike Snyder.
