Main Product Description

Engineered specifically for Regional Mexican, Sierreño, Norteño, and Tejano styles, the Tagima Sierreña XII - BK delivers a rich, commanding requinto sound. Built as a 12-string acoustic-electric "docerola," it stands apart from traditional 12-strings by utilizing unified, unison-paired strings rather than octave pairs, producing a significantly thicker, punchier, and more balanced tone.

To withstand the elevated tension of 12 steel strings, the body features an integrated Bridge Doctor mechanical system that reinforces the top and prevents warping over time. The body is constructed with a solid spruced or sapele top paired with mahogany or sapele back and sides, complemented by a comfortable C-shape Okoume neck and a Purpleheart fretboard. Finished in a sleek gloss black, it comes equipped with active onboard electronics—including a piezo pickup and a Tagima TEQ-10 preamp/EQ system—making it ready to perform right out of the box.
