Amy received her Bachelor's in Elementary Education and Choral Music from Central Washington University. She also received an Endorsement in Teaching English as a Second Language and a Master's Degree in Creative Arts in Education.

Amy has been a Private Piano and Voice Instructor since 1994. Her students range from ages 4 to adult. From the person who wants to learn how to play the piano or sing on tune, to the student who is preparing for their upcoming school musical or making their first CD, Amy works with a wide range of people in the studio.

In addition to being a Private Piano and Voice Instructor, Amy is a Public School Teacher. For more than 28 years Miss Amy has inspired thousands of students with her love of music. Beginning her career as a Kindergarten Teacher, she moved into a Music Specialist Position. Amy's experience with students in grades K-12 in General Music Classes, Choirs, and Musicals allows her to reflect her passion for music and share the magic of music with others.

Amy is currently an Elementary Music Specialist in the Federal Way School District. She is an active member of the Washington Music Educators Conference, American Orff Schulwerk Association, and American Choral Directors Association. She enjoys attending conferences and workshops that aid her growth as an Educator. She believes that a great teacher is always learning.
