Spencer Cox is a seasoned drummer; he has been playing since 2012, having been personally instructed by Ted Brown's own Brian Lilly. Spencer has also been trained as Brian's student drum teacher and has been teaching since 2019, primarily focusing on instruction of beginner to intermediate students. Ever since learning to play the piano at the ripe age of 4, Spencer has had a love of creating music; drawing direct influence from artists such as The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and The Beach Boys to create his own unique musical style. While he has enjoyed becoming a proficient pianist, as well as an accomplished vocalist featured in many local community theater productions throughout the Kitsap area, his one true love lies in the craft of percussion/drumming. People such as Ringo Starr, John Bonham, Neil Peart, and Bill Ward have greatly influenced the style of Spencer's drumming. He can adapt to any musical style, whether it be hard-n-heavy metal or quieter country rock. Couple that with a self-taught instruction on music theory and it is clear to see that Spencer fully understands the craft, execution, and joy of creating music.
