Natalie Petty grew up in Los Angeles, California where she developed in the music scene as a multi-instrumentalist. She specializes in saxophone while having performed professionally with numerous ensembles on flute, piccolo, clarinet, bass clarinet, contrabass clarinet, and oboe.

She graduated from the University of North Texas (UNT) with a BM in Jazz Studies- Saxophone and gained experience in many styles of music- Broadway, Big Band, Jazz Combo, Pop, Latin Jazz, Classical, Woodwind Quintet and more!

Ensembles she has performed with include the Mckinney Philharmonic, the Synesthesia Sinfonietta, and The Great American Band, as well as performing in the Disneyland park as a part of Disney's All-American College Band. Musicals she has performed include Legally Blonde, Footloose, The Importance of Being Earnest, and Assassins. Some guest artists she has performed with include Eric Marienthal, Wayne Bergeron, and Gordon Goodwin.

Natalie has been teaching ever since high school, working with all ages and a wide range of woodwind students from beginner to advanced-levels. She continues to pursue her passion for music in order to inspire the new generation of musicians.
