Kael McLinko is a seasoned drummer of 12 years. He was personally taught by Brian Lilly and was recently onboarded by Brian to teach at Ted Brown Music; main focus is on beginner and intermediate students. His musical background includes 7 years of concert/jazz band and 5 years of marching band. His systems are adherent to Brian Lilly's, which involve varied situations and methods and come from multiple unique ideas, exercises, books, drum machines and various styles of music.

A graduate of Olympic High School in 2024, Kael has had hands-on experience with multiple local groups, including the Kitsap Philharmonic, as well as out-of-state organizations like the United States Air Force Band of the Golden West. He is adaptable, capable of playing smooth/hard and country rock, jazz, and metal.
