He's been in the industry, teaching music, producing music, and composing, for over 18 years. He draws from a unique background of diverse musical influences, having gained his teaching, writing, and studio experience in Amsterdam, Turkey, Hawaii and Los Angeles. His experience across cultures and musical genres has placed him in demand as a music teacher, composer, arranger, and producer on a wide range of projects.
Danny's song "Almost Had It All" was nominated for the Achievement in Music - Original Song in the 2017 Canadian Screen Awards (Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television). "Almost Had It All" was featured in A Date with Miss Fortune, a romantic comedy feature film for which Danny also wrote and produced the score. His musicality is rooted in his experience as a seasoned performer, often picking up a guitar, ukulele, or bass guitar when needed in a recording session or concert.
Daniel studied Film Scoring at UCLA, completing their Film Scoring Program and has worked with many of Hollywood's top musicians. He loves giving back to the younger generation, and has worked with ETM-LA (Education Through Music Los Angeles) on several projects.
