Thomas Schumacher grew up in the Lewis-Clark Valley on the shared borders of Idaho and Washington State, along the banks of the beautiful Snake River. In his early years there, he had the great fortune of meeting World Class teachers of Dance, Acting, Theater, Voice, Piano, Marching and Concert Band, and Choral Music.

He began study in these art forms with constant positive support from his parents who have been his life guides, always. His teachers there remain his mentors to this day. He began Conducting pit-orchestras and serving as Musical Director for Musical Theater productions at age 16, which then led to a great love of all things Music. After Music Study at University of Idaho School of Music ( Lionel Hampton School of Music ), he went on to become a lifelong freelance music artist and educator. He plays the Piano, Pipe Organ, Sings, and is greatly interested in Digital / Electronic Music.

Thomas states he is absolutely thrilled to be joining Ted Brown Music as a Vocal and Piano Instructor! He has a very long history with Ted Brown Music as his source for Sheet Music and Music Supplies.

He welcomes students of all ages and celebrates their diversity, seeking to learn how each individual processes their love of music so he might foster their thriving in all of their musical endeavors. The student always comes first!
