Kathryn Chavez is a formally trained pianist with a flair for the creative. A love for jazz and classical piano transitioned into other genres as she grew and experienced an eclectic combination of artists. Participating in choirs, jazz band, marching band and becoming a Washington State All-State Jazz Pianist in 2010 made her familiar with the music world. She earned her B.A in Music Education at Central Washington University in 2017. Those experiences led to open mic nights, experimenting with mixers, guitars, drum machines and finally deciding to write her own songs. In 2021, she released her first album recorded at Robert Lang Studio in Shoreline, WA and in 2022, released her single recorded at her home studio.

Kathryn believes music can take us on a beautiful journey and has a big heart for teaching piano. She loves to challenge her students in a fun way so her students can see how capable they are!
