James Coates is a Puget Sound musician specializing in guitar, piano, bass and ukulele. He has toured nationally, been featured on KEXP and opened for artists like Sheryl Crow. His love of music developed at an early age, beginning with piano at age two and adding other instruments not long after that.

Learning music at such a young age and turning it into a full-time career has given James unique insight into how aspiring musicians of different ages learn and apply musical knowledge, concepts and techniques.
