Originally from the Bay Area, Andrew (he/him) recently moved to Washington from Southern California. He began his musical journey in childhood and brings over 25 years of experience to his teaching practice. He holds two Master’s Degrees in Philosophy and performed in bands throughout his studies. He plays bass and guitar and his musical interests and inspiration lie in Jazz, Blues, Rock, Folk, and World Traditions. He loves learning new styles and techniques, and enjoys making the language of music approachable and engaging. He is passionate about sharing his love for music, creating connections, and helping students reach their musical goals to express themselves in unique and meaningful ways.
