The NUX NSS-4 Pulse is a compact, mini-format IR loader pedal designed for guitarists, bassists, and acoustic players. It features three selectable modes—EG CAB (electric guitar cabinets), BS CAB (bass cabinets), and AG IR (acoustic guitar impulse responses)—with a total of 24 IR slots (8 per mode). Each mode includes high-quality cabinet simulations such as the Marshall 1960A, Fender Deluxe Reverb, Ampeg SV810, and Martin D45 Piezo.

The Pulse supports third-party IR loading via USB and the Pulse Editor software, allowing users to tweak IR level, low cut, and high cut filters. It also functions as a USB audio interface for direct recording and includes a 1/8" headphone out for silent practice.

With true or buffered bypass, stereo I/O, and ultra-low power consumption, the NSS-4 Pulse is a versatile tone-shaping tool for live, studio, or home use.
