The NUX Brownie Distortion Pedal delivers iconic '70s-style British distortion in a compact, pedalboard-friendly format. Designed to emulate the legendary "brown sound" of vintage Marshall amps, it features a hybrid circuit with a specially engineered BJT input stage and asymmetrical clipping for authentic tube-like breakup and dynamic response.
Its Tone, Gain, and Level controls offer precise sound shaping, while the lowpass filter simulates the Variac effect for smooth high-end control. With a low-noise op-amp and dual red LEDs for symmetrical clipping, the Brownie provides rich, organic distortion tones perfect for classic rock and beyond—all in a rugged, true bypass enclosure.
