The LSL Instruments LUCID OD is a transparent overdrive pedal inspired by the legendary Klon Centaur®, featuring a reversed tone knob for a unique tonal sweep—from bright, expressive “squawk” to mellow, lush warmth. Positioned at the midpoint, it delivers a smooth yet gritty overdrive ideal for blues, rock, funk, and indie styles.
The pedal preserves the natural character of an amp while adding a distinctive saturation. Thanks to its internal voltage doubler, the circuit operates at 18V, offering greater headroom and dynamic response, especially at higher gain settings. The LUCID OD performs well across a wide range of tube amps and musical contexts.
