Elizabeth is a passionate music teacher who has extensive experience in teaching voice, violin, viola, cello and piano but is most passionate about teaching music theory! She has been teaching music for 14 years and has a strong philosophy that music should be fun, yet challenging for students. She implements this in every aspect of her teaching. She makes sure that students learn great technique and have a strong background in music theory; while at the same time making sure students have the most fun possible. Elizabeth graduated in 2011 with a degree in music education. She worked for a short time in the New York City and Long Island public school system. In 2013, she began to teach privately (DBA) and found so much joy in it that she became an owner of Huntington Bay music. Although later on, she realized the business aspect of a running a music store was not for her, she still continued to follow her passion for teaching and continues to do so today by giving her students confidence and the knowledge they need to perform at their highest capacity.
