To achieve these goals, Schilke developed new features that include: a mouthpiece receiver with a lighter weight, quick response and a distinct look amongst all other Schilke trumpets. A newly designed set of ballusters results in a modified mass distribution with improved tone. The ergonomics of the design make the i Series extremely comfortable to hold. Finally, the new lightweight bracing design on the valve section improves the I Series overall response.
