Crafted with a contoured American basswood body topped with stunning quilted maple, it's a visually striking instrument. The roasted maple neck features Ibanez's comfortable AZ oval "C" profile and a lightning-fast rosewood fingerboard with 24 stainless steel frets, accommodating a wide range of playing styles. Equipped with a trio of DiMarzio pickups in an HSH configuration, the AZ47P1QM offers a formidable voice across various genres. Complemented by premium hardware including a Gotoh T1502 synchronized tremolo and MT-G locking machine heads, this guitar is a perfect blend of elegance and dynamism!

Ibanez enhanced the AZ47P1QM's roasted maple neck with their S-Tech wood nitrogen-heating treatment, increasing its stability, durability, and resistance to temperature changes. Sealed with oil for a smooth feel, the neck features an AZ oval "C" profile that fits comfortably in your hand and provides a modern feel for high-fret playing.

The combination of DiMarzio pickups in the HSH configuration offers an expansive tonal palette. The DiMarzio Tone Zone at the bridge delivers a hot humbucking sound with a wide dynamic range, complemented by the deep and warm tones of the DiMarzio Air Norton at the neck. In the middle position, the DiMarzio True Velvet single-coil provides bright and sweet tones ideal for soloing, making this pickup combination highly versatile.

Developed in collaboration with Gotoh, the AZ47P1QM's T1502 tremolo system allows for effortless string skipping and hybrid picking with its narrow string spacing. Featuring a snap-and-hold socket for easy arm loading and an arm torque adjuster for fine adjustments, it ensures excellent tuning stability. The stud lock screws enhance resonance and sustain, while the 2-point floating tremolo system enables smooth tremolo motion in both directions.
