Ibanez AAD140 Advanced Acoustic Guitar

As part of their new Advanced Acoustic series, the AAD140 represents a significant step forward in design and tone. The AAD140 offers a grand dreadnought acoustic with slightly larger overall dimensions, resulting in a richer, brighter sound and increased volume. Featuring a solid okoume top with okoume back and sides, and an open-pore finish that highlights the natural wood tone, this guitar is designed to impress. A Thermo-Aged nyatoh neck with an ovangkol fingerboard provides ultra-smooth response, making the AAD140 perfect for both flatpicking and fingerpicking.

Extra touches bring big results. In addition to the AAD140's larger body, it features Ibanez's X-M bracing design, which enhances the treble and midrange while ensuring a clear bottom end. The X-M bracing pattern, an intricate overlap of X-shaped and M-shaped supports, boosts the tone and provides long-term support and durability.

For added comfort, Ibanez treated the nyatoh neck with Thermo-Aged processing to remove impurities from the wood. The neck is cut to a low-oval-grip profile, offering a smooth and comfortable playing experience as you explore chords and leads. The okoume fingerboard has rounded edges for additional comfort. The scalloped ovangkol bridge supports strumming and picking, making the instrument lighter and improving overall vibration.
