Ibanez AAD100EOPN Advanced Series Acoustic-Electric Guitar - Open Pore Natural

As part of their new Advanced Acoustic series, the AAD100E represents a bold step forward in design and tone. The AAD100E offers a grand dreadnought acoustic with slightly larger overall dimensions, resulting in a richer, brighter sound and increased volume. It features a solid Sitka spruce top with okoume back and sides, along with an open-pore finish that enhances the natural wood tone. A Thermo-Aged nyatoh neck with an ovangkol fingerboard provides ultra-smooth response, making the AAD100E ideal for both flatpicking and fingerpicking. When you're ready to plug in, the AP11 magnetic pickup mounted at the end of the fretboard and the Ibanez Custom Electronics preamp with volume and tone controls deliver excellent amplified acoustic tone.

In addition to the AAD100E's larger body, it comes with Ibanez's X-M bracing design, which enhances the treble and midrange while ensuring a clear bottom end. The X-M bracing pattern is an intricate overlap of X-shaped and M-shaped supports. This design not only boosts the tone but also provides support and durability for the long haul.

Ibanez treated the nyatoh neck with Thermo-Aged processing, removing impurities from the wood, and shaped it to a low-oval-grip profile for a smooth, comfortable feel. The ovangkol fingerboard features rounded edges for additional comfort. The scalloped ovangkol bridge supports strumming and picking while making the instrument lighter and enhancing overall vibration.
