The Fox 41 student bassoon is made from durable molded polypropylene, known for its resistance to wear and tear, temperature changes, and humidity fluctuations. This material ensures easy maintenance and long-term reliability. The instrument features a German bell with an attractive white synthetic ivory ring and is equipped with a body lock. Nickel-silver water tubes extend into the bore to prevent moisture buildup in the tone holes.
With its full German key system and silver-plated keys, the Fox 41 allows for precise and responsive playing. Each key is meticulously hand-mounted by expert assemblers. The key system includes a short-reach plateau key for the left-hand ring finger, as well as rollers for the right little finger F and Ab and the left little finger Eb and Db.
