, an immersive 8-week hands-on course that introduces students to the exciting world of music production. This program is specially designed for those who want to explore both the art and science of recording music.
Learn in a working studio environment using the top equipment in the industry. 7-week course in Tacoma (Decade Sound Studios) with a final class held at the famous Robert Lang Studio in Shoreline, WA. Throughout the course, students will:
- Learn the basics of recording equipment and studio setup
- Record live instruments and vocals
- Dive into digital audio workstations (DAWs) like Pro Tools, Studio One, or Ableton
- Experiment with mixing, EQ, effects, and more
- Get a taste of what it’s like to work in a real studio environment
