In this masterclass Donn will walk you through concepts like what makes someone a good singer, what makes a good drummer, and how to play along with a click track. There will also be audience participation with an interactive play-along session. No matter what your past experience with singing while drumming, you are sure to come out of this masterclass with something new to try.

Donn Garrett is an accomplished Northwest musician who has performed with numerous renowned artists, including Alan White, Liberty DeVitto, and Chris Slade. He has opened for John Cafferty, Tommy Tutone, and The Knack. Donn earned respect subbing for Alan White at a NAMM 09 All Star Jam rehearsal and as a vocalist has performed with The Seattle Rock Orchestra. He has appeared on TV and is featured in the drum book "Sticks n Skins." Donn has released albums like "Brilliant Mis-Takes" and "Between Home & Here." Donn signed with Mapex Drums in 2016 and has been Stage Manager for "Woodstick Big Beat" since 2004.
