One of the great things about music education is that we share.
My room is an open door and anyone's invited to come in and I don't hold propriety to any of my ideas because I probably borrowed them from someone else and adapted them to fit my personality and the needs of my students.
I'm always looking to bring in people that can help me. It takes a lot of humility in a se nse to bring in someone to tell you when you're doing it wrong and to be able to take that input and that insight and try and grow, but conferences and clinics and being in other classrooms I'm constantly trying to improve and sharpen myself.
