The Audio Technica ATM350PL is a cardioid condenser instrument microphone designed for use with pianos. This system includes the ATM350a microphone, which provides a clear, well-balanced response even at high sound pressure levels. The ATM350PL features a UniMount® magnetic piano mount and a 9-inch gooseneck, allowing for secure and precise positioning on any metal part of the piano. The cardioid polar pattern reduces pickup of sounds from the sides and rear, improving isolation of the desired sound source. Additionally, the in-line power module includes a switchable 80 Hz high-pass filter to control unwanted low-frequency noise. The system also comes with a violin mount and a protective carrying case for added versatility and convenience.
