Ted Brown Music Private Lessons Teacher

Requirements:

- Flexibility and the ability to work Saturdays

- Strong background working with and instructing children

- Private studio lessons for general students

- Instruction both for students who intend to pursue a career in music and for those who wish to enrich their lives through non-career-oriented study and performance

- Instruction emphasizes a personal approach in a lively musical environment that encourages individual discovery and the realization of artistic potential

Please Note: Music instructors are required to complete a criminal background check prior to occupying lesson studios.

PTO Benefits

Part-time employees receive sick leave at the rate of 1 hour per every 40 hours worked up to 56 hours. No other benefits will become available unless the employee is promoted to full-time status.

Full-time employees will also receive sick leave at the same rate. In addition, full time employees will receive 1 week of vacation accrued at the rate of 1.54 hours each pay period for two years. After the two-year anniversary occurs, employees will accrue 3.08 hours each pay period or two weeks of vacation each year. Once the employee reaches 7 years, vacation time will be accrued at 4.62 hours per pay period or three weeks per year. Sick leave and vacation time can be used as accrued with no waiting period.

Eligible dependents can be added to all medical for an additional cost. You will become eligible for benefits on the first of the month following 60 days of full-time employment.
