About Scott

Scott has been making music for a long time. He’s directed church choirs, played lead guitar in rock bands, and composed music for TV. He has a Bachelor of Music degree from PLU in music theory and composition (summa cum laude) and a Master of Arts degree from UCLA in music composition. And he loves helping others to get to the next level from wherever they are.

Scott spent the first years after college as a professional musician, building his own recording studio and getting to do a lot of the music for TV shows produced by KCTS in Seattle. (This included 10 minutes of the original “Over Washington” show, the theme for Rick Steves’ Travels in Europe, and an Emmy Award for the music for a documentary called Growing up Without.) Then for a number of years he put his recording and editing skills to work doing video production for Russell Investments.

Now – in addition to playing on the worship team on Sundays, performing all original music locally with TwoMacs and Friends, and recording in his home studio - he’s looking for ways to help and inspire others to make great music.
